If you are interested in helping children, we would love to have you come visit our club!





We meet on the following schedule:

The first Thursday of the month, we meet at Otto's Brauhaus on Easton Road in Horsham at 7:30 AM for a breakfast meeting. Your first breakfast is our treat!


We meet the third Thursday of the month at Days Inn Horsham on Easton Road in Horsham at 6:30 PM for a potluck dinner meeting. There's no need for you to bring anything - we always have plenty!

Our meetings typically run about an hour. If you would like to stop in and visit, please do so - we welcome visitors. We hope to see you soon!

Friday, November 5th – First Friday Hatboro Peanut Day: We are very lucky to have 9 members of our Key Club signed up to help us with our Peanut Day. We could use some more volunteers from our Kiwanis Club. If you are able to come out and help, we need volunteers from 6:00-9:00 PM. Meet at McMackin Tires at 6:00.

Saturday, November 6th – Kiwanis Region 7 Fall Conference: All members of all clubs are invited to attend. Please RSVP to Kim Roth, Ann Doerffel or Mariza Shavelle if you are able to attend. Governor Susan Grab will be making a special address. Registration begins at 8:30 AM and the conference will adjourn at 1:00 PM. Cost is $15.00 and does include continental breakfast and a light lunch.

Monday, November 8th – NPR Meeting at Days Inn 6:00 PM – John Farnen will be attending – Thank you John!

Wednesday, November 10th – Kick-Off Meeting for Relay For Life: will be at HHHS starting at 6:30 PM. The meeting should last for about an hour. If anyone is interested in attending, please let me know.

Tuesday, November 16th – Greater Horsham Chamber of Commerce: is having a Traditional Thanksgiving Networking Luncheon at Otto’s Brauhaus. Registration and Networking begins at 11:30 AM and the Luncheon will be at Noon. The cost is only $15.00 for Tossed Garden Salad, Roast Turkey with Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Green Beans, Homemade Apple Pie, Coffee & Tea. Please bring a non-perishable food item for the Nonprofit Roundtable’s local food bank project. Please R.S.V.P. to Mary Dare at 215-674-9590 or marydare@comcast.net.

Thursday, November 18th – Kiwanis Club of Hatboro-Horsham will be meeting at Days Inn Horsham at 6:30 PM. Come join us!!!

Sunday, November 21st – Hatboro Holiday Parade. We will once again be participating in the parade. Tom McMackin is working on getting some convertibles. Our Key Club will be joining us in full force with 40 members signed up to help us with the banner and to give out small candy canes. We would like to have as many Kiwanians participate as possible. Your small candy cane donation would be most appreciated. Please plan on meeting at Tom McMackin’s 12:30-1:00 PM. Potluck dishes will not be turned away.

Tuesday, November 23rd – Banquet of Thanks sponsored by the Abington Aktion Club. $15.00 for Kiwanis and family members. $10.00 for Aktion Club, Key Club and Circle K members. It will be held in Cafeteria “A” in Abington High School at 900 Highland Ave, Abington. If you have not attended this banquet in the past, it is truly a wonderful evening of Thanks. Wednesday, December 8th – Toys For Tots at Days Inn Horsham. Stop by for a fun evening and bring a new unwrapped toy for a child.
Saturday, December 11th – Breakfast with Santa sponsored by the Abington Aktion Club
Saturday, December 18th – Breakfast with Santa sponsored by the Southampton Kiwanis Club to be held at Applebee’s. All-you-can-eat Pancake Breakfast – cost is $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for children, including a picture with Santa.
Friday, January 14th – Kiwanis Division Council Meeting for all Kiwanis Clubs and 85th Anniversary Celebration for the Kiwanis Club of Old York Road. Come out and help them celebrate. Details to follow.
Thursday, January 20th – The Curious Savage by the Village Players. Tickets will be sold for $15.00 per ticket with complimentary beverages and refreshments at intermission. We will also have basket raffles and a 50/50 raffle.
